Two Mini Competitions

$10 per participating angler

In case of a tie in any of the competitions the winner will be crowned by either whoever skulls a beer the fastest or possibly any other alternative measure that maybe made prior to the start

Rules

  1. All entrants must be a current financial member of the Wombles to be able to win the TDB, others can win the mini comps
  2. All entrants must be wearing something that has a wombles insignia on it
  3. Any anglers late will need to consume a torpedo for every five minutes they are late & will be fined
  4. Anglers must handle and bait their own hooks, remove their own fish
  5. If a shark is caught this can also win the longest fish prize as long it is brought to the boat & the leader grabbed. If there is any conjecture over the size of the shark vs any other fish then it will need to be measured to then be counted as a winner
  6. Any gear failure e.g. breaking gear, bird’s nests etc. will be fined
  7. It is up to the angler to clearly mark or at least keep track of your own fish count and size prior to entering the bin, if there is any conjecture on if the fish is yours or you miss count at any stage that fish will not be accepted
  8. Foul hooking of any fish cannot win the TDB prize (Pugs) nor does it contribute to the mini comp
  9. Not owning your fish and causing tangle ups is punishable by a torpedo & a fine
  10. All knots are to be tied by the angler, for any knots tied by anyone else it will cost you a fine
  11. Any funny “bulls ups” by any angler will incur a fine
  12. Any Fish foul hooked is punishable by a torpedo & a fine by the angler
  13. For every undersized fish caught a torpedo is to be consumed and a fine until decided enough is enough by the Champ
  14. It is up to each angler to make themselves familiar with the rules prior to the event
  15. The champ may choose to introduce further rules prior to kick off
  16. The Skippers decision on judging of the outcomes are final

Fine Session

The fine session will be held after the event at a suitable venue.
